What is a traineeship?
A Traineeship is a training programme for young people aged 16-18 years old, with real work experience built in, helping you move closer to gaining your first job in a range of industries.

You will be taught vocationally relevant skills and gain industry recognised qualifications, supported by our expert tutor team.
You will then have the chance to put those skills into real life practice in a work placement relevant to your career aspirations for 3 days per week that will last up to 6 months.

Maths & English up to Level 2 and Employability Skills. These qualifications will prepare you to progress into employment when you complete your course.

For 16-18s – the course lasts up to 6 months with a work placement 3 days per week and 1 day per week in the classroom.
Learn moreWhere is the course taught?
For 16-18s – the classroom part is taught from our Eastbourne training centre with some online elements.
The work placements will be based around Sussex, and we will cover all of your daily travel expenses to get to your place of work.
