The Apprenticeship Levy means that the costs of training are covered if your wage bill exceeds £3 million/year.
Smaller businesses can apply for funding of up to 95% of training costs through the Department for Education.
- You will not have to pay national insurance for any apprentices who are between 16 and 25 years of age.
- £1,000 for taking on a 16-18 year old apprentice
- £1,000 for taking on a 19-24 year old apprentice that has an EHC plan or who is a care leaver
