I am the first learner to complete the Level 2 Adult Care Worker Standard within Health and Social Care.
It took me just over a year and I was supported throughout the course by my Tutor Adrian who was fantastic. I also completed my Functional Skills in Maths and English with the help of Kitty who visited me in my workplace.
I was very nervous about the End Point Assessment which took place in an office at HTA. Again Adrian prepared me for the interview and reassured me that I was ready. I was interviewed via Skype by an external Health Care Professional from City and Guilds. She asked me questions about the course and my practice.
About a week later I had my results. Adrian informed me I had passed with a Merit I was delighted.
I now plan to progress onto Level 3 and further my career in the Health and Social Care industry.
